What’s a cohort, and why does it matter?
A cohort is a small group of learners who start the course at the same time. You’ll follow the same structure, but work at your own pace — with the option to connect, share progress, and support each other along the way.
We’ll kick things off with a live intro session, where you’ll:
• Learn how the course and platform work
• Meet your fellow learners and code coaches
• Ask questions and get set up for success
Spots are limited to keep the experience personal.
Do I have to wait for the cohort to begin?
No, you don't need to wait until the cohort starts - you will get instant access. Once you bought the course, you will receive an introduction email with all information on how to log on to our learning platform.
How much time will the bootcamp take?
This is a self-paced course based on our live Web Development Bootcamp (the students there are guided by coaches), and it takes them around 20 hours on average per week for 24 weeks. You choose your own pace and can pick and choose the parts that suits you.
Can my company pay for the seat?
Absolutely, a lot of companies do. You can choose to add a VAT number when booking your seat. Ask your boss and get going!
How long will I have access to the course?
You will have access to all materials for 24 months, including updates from the date of purchase.
How much feedback will I get?
You will get on-demand feedback from our feedback tool on your code quality.
What is the difference towards your live bootcamp?
The live bootcamp is 24 weeks and contains 6 hours of teacher-led live sessions each week and extensive support, team work and career coaching. In the self-paced version, you will access all of the course material and study on your own terms. The career coaching program is not included in the self-paced version.
What is a lesson?
A lesson can be a video lesson, an article, a quiz, a practice, a game or a codealong. We mix different formats for your best learning. A module is often introduced by a longer video lecture followed by codealongs and more hands-on lessons.
