APIs are critical to our digital lives. They’re how websites, apps, and digital services communicate and exchange data and information. During this session, code coach Antonella will explain what an API is and what it stands for, give you insights on how it works in practice, and hopefully give you some inspiration for future projects to try out yourself. There are a massive number of so-called 'Open APIs' for you to use, which are totally free. You can get data on weather forecasts, newsfeeds, how many astronauts are in space right now.. and other useful info 👀. More about this creative goldmine during the session!

Say hi to Antonella. She is our code coach at Technigo at our Web Development Bootcamp 👋. Born and raised in Italy, she now lives in Stockholm 🇸🇪 teaches our students remotely. Before that, she used to work at a global agency called The Techno Creatives as a developer, creating disruptive and innovative experiences. Antonella has more than five years of experience in development, and JavaScript and React are some of her favourite languages.
